I describe my graphic design style as clean, simple, vintage-inspired, and ready-to-use. I stand by my design principles that simple ideas speak louder than cluttered ones, that clean edges and solid colors will portray professionalism, and that you have to be able to understand and appreciate an idea within the first few seconds to truly be successful. I love taking an idea, cleaning it up, and giving it an edge that makes it soar above the rest. That is my true goal when I work with my graphic design projects.
My process is centered around brainstorming and giving choices. I will always work with a client and discuss the ideas of the project before starting it. After the brainstorming is done, I will then go to work creating a set of designs (3-6) for the client. This usually takes 24-48 hours. After I have received feedback on those designs, I will create another set. Once the client has chosen a design they would like to revise, I will work with them to revise the design until it is perfect. Then after all is said and done, I provide the files needed for printing and editing. Easy as pie. :)
That is my motto. I not only live by the simplicity of each word, but also by the true meaning each word carries with them. To design means to see something in life with your eyes, visualize the potential of what it can be at its best, plan how it can meet that potential, and execute exactly what it needs to be. To create means give life to an idea, to start from somewhere, with whatever tools you have available, and to do everything in your power to make it come alive. To inspire means to live in a manner that the light you bring into the world not only lights your own path, but the path of those who need it. I live by these words, and they have fueled the passion behind who I am today.
